Module 9 - SWIM EDUCATION BLOCK (4 weeks)
Here we go! Learn about all the swim set lingo you will see over the next 7 months. 4 swims a week with bike and run workouts added in to start you off on the right foot towards your Ironman journey. Don't forget to purchase a Finis Tempo Trainer PRO and learn how to use it.
Module 8 - BIKE EDUCATION BLOCK
Time to ride the hog! In this block you will learn about strength, speed, and training at Ironman Heart Rate on the bike. These sessions are built to challenge and educate so that you are ready for your main Ironman build when the times comes.
Module 7 - RUN EDUCATION BLOCK
Eek! The Run! Ironman athletes tend to stress about the run, but we have you covered. You will learn about the sessions you will be completeing in your Ironman build and we leave no stone unturned in this block when it comes to preparing you to put in the big work for Ironman.
Module 6 - TRAINING BLOCK NUMBER 1
Following a two weeks on, one week recovery format this is your first taste of what true Ironman training is going to look like for your next 14 weeks. This is the primer before you dive head first into the training that is going to get you to that finish line fit, strong, and happy.
Module 5 - TRAINING BLOCK NUMBER 2
True Ironman training starts in this block. The work you do here is going to make up the fabric of your Ironman race day. Time to focus, prepare for success, and execute. You are ready, make it happen!
Module 4 - TRAINING BLOCK NUMBER 3
Training Block number three is where the Ironman volume starts to build. Your weekends are going to be spent training and your fitness is building bit by bit every day in this block. Focus on recovery and limiting stress for optimal success!
Module 3 - TRAINING BLOCK NUMBER 4
You are an Ironman machine. This last block is where you start to put all the pieces together. The long runs, the long rides. You are building the machine that you will use on race day to successfully complete your optimal race. How you do one thing is how you do everything!
Module 2 - BIG DADDY PUSH
You are tired, you are fit, this is the final push. The focused effort where you ice your cake. These sessions will allow you to hone in on the final details for your race day execution, and you will be ready for that taper by the end of this block. Stay strong, you got this!
