Seven of our RTTC athletes toed the sandy line June 11 to compete in a hot, hot HOT Boulder Ironman 70.3. Temperatures soared up to near 100 degrees but it felt much hotter out on the shadeless reservoir where most of the race took place. Proper hydration and a positive mentality was key for our athletes and I am SO proud of the amazing performances by all.Read More
Are you curious about what goes down during triathlon camp? Back in May our awesome Rising Tide athletes in Washington, D.C., came together for an action packed four days of training. We did it all - explored the city, swam, biked, and ran our hearts out in the muggy DC heat. By the time it came for my flight to leave I was ready to sleep the whole way home to Colorado!
Triathlon camp is an opportunity for our athletes to come together with me (or other coach[s]) to have focused training sessions. But what else happens is magical. We learn from each other.
