Come to camp!  Build what you need to reach those bad ass goals you have for yourself. You know, the ones that summon your inner beast, the ones that can't hold back the leap across the finish line.

Who is this for....

Come to Colorado Epic camp if you are training for Ironman and looking to get in a huge Ironman training week. This is a training based camp, not a skills or education based camp. We will keep an eye on your form and provide as much feedback as possible, but you are here to TRAIN. 

This camp is 21-28 hours of training, coach supported. 

What's Included???

  • Challenging training sessions in Swim - Bike - Run
  • SAG support for long rides and pace groups for runs
  • Stroke instruction and open water skills training in the pool, all pool entry fees

What's not included??

  • Lodging - we have a group house in Evergreen, CO (see below for available rooms). You can purchase a room in the camp house for additional $$$. 
  • Transportation - we have SAG support for all sessions, but you will need to provide transportation to training venues.
  • Flights - book in and out of DIA
  • Breakfast and lunch (often times we will be training through lunch)

Training Camp Schedule June 27 - July 2, 2016 (Subject to some changes)

Monday: Arrive, bike builds and maintenance checks, shake out trail jog, spin if desired

Tuesday: Long course pool swim, long bike ride in the Mountains, run off the bike, hot tub time

Wednesday: Long course pool swim, Run up crazy sh*t, easy spin in the afternoon, tell tall tails

Thursday: fast running in awesome land all morning long, a nice relaxing brunch, afternoon swim, massages with Byron (optional - bring cash for him!) and Coach 1-1 chats

Friday: Ride Mount Evans, followed by trail running and some dinner & fun time

Saturday: epic long run, a flop back in the water and camp wrap up around lunch

Swimming!! We are swimming in the pristine Carmody Recreation Center Pool. Morning swims will be long course, afternoon and evening swims are short course. This pool is clear and cool. 

Running!!  Just the right amount to boost your fitness, challenge you, and build your confidence. We start with a shake out run on Monday after you arrive and get settled in. Monday, off the bike, we’ll get another run in. Wednesday is Run Up Crazy Sh*t day!! We’re on a mountain - lets USE it! Thursday we will do mile repeats in the morning - YAY repeats! After we descend the mountain Friday we’ll get some amazing trail running in and explore Denver on urban dirt trails. Saturday's morning long run lets you get your running legs and have some fun with friends. 

Biking!! On Monday when you arrive, a mobile bike mechanic will be onsite at the Host House to help you with any issues that might arise traveling with your bike. Tuesday we’ll be on the bikes for a long ride, with complete SAG support. We’ll take an easy spin Wednesday afternoon. We will skip biking Thursday, to rest up your legs for an amazing ride up Mount Evans Friday morning (Read: EPIC and HARD and AWESOME). You won’t believe the views and the feeling you get when you reach the summit! 

Learning!! This camp is about training and coaches on hand will be infusing education along the way. No lectures at this camp, it's EPIC camp where we train our butts off.

Where to Stay: June 27 - July 2, 2016

We have made arrangements with a Camp House that could be on CRIBS for all our athletes and coaches to have the opportunity to stay at the same location for more team togetherness time! If you wish to stay in the Camp House you have a number of choices for bedrooms! Athletes can work together and share a room/bed (you can split the room fee)! Email help@risingtidetri.com after you register for camp to reserve your favorite room! Here is what we have available: 

Room 1 - The Master Suite - KING Bed with private ensuite bathroom - $650 - TAKEN

Room 1 - The Master Suite - Trundle bed - in the room with the king bed shares ensuite master bathroom - $575 - TAKEN

Room 2 - The Master Suite- twin size bunk bed 1 - sharing ensuite master bathroom - $375 - TAKEN

Room 2 - The Master Suite - twin size bunk bed 2 - sharing ensuite master bathroom - $375 - TAKEN

Room 3 - King bed main floor - bathroom in hall - $625 - TAKEN

Meals:

Included in the cost of camp are all dinners.

We will also have snacks and water with us all the time.

Refunds: We will refund 50% of your camp registration fee if you request a refund before June 14, 2016. We will refund your lodging fee if we can fill the room before camp begins.
